March 24′ Newsletter

801 Fam,

The Open has begun! It was amazing watching everyone throwdown and kick the season off in style during our Intramural Open Friday Night Lights. The points have been tallied and coming out of week 1 in first place are the Diamond Dogs. With 349 total points, the Diamond Dogs had 17 people signed up for the Open (170 points), 10 signed up for the judges course (50 points), 19 who logged their scores in SugarWod (95 points) and took the cake on podiums with 34 total points. Earning second place are the 801 Angels, with 278 total points. They had 10 people sign up for the Open, 10 for the judges course, earned 28 points from podiums, 16 who logged their scores in SugarWod, and also won the weekly spirit award which is worth 20 points. And coming in a humble third place, a team poised for a starch comeback, Darkest Shade of Grey. The DSG’s earned 245 points, 11 open sign ups, 5 judges courses, 20 who logged their scores in SugarWod, and 10 points from podiums (thank you, Jose!). There’s a lot of ball game left! Bring your ‘A’ game the next two weeks and let’s see who ends up on top!

801 Podium for 24.1 (top 3 scores in each division earn team points)
