Last Newsletter of the year! I’ve really enjoyed writing these the past few months and will keep them going as we get into 2024. If you have any ideas of topics that you think would be cool to highlight, please let me know.

Our end of year Health Challenge is underway – It’s been awesome to see how many people are taking it on. Week 2 started today, but it’s still not too late to join! There are tracking sheets at the gym if you are wanting to get in on the action. Remember to send your week 1 totals to [email protected]. Our week one coach to beat was the very fit Rachel Noel. Rachel totaled 45 points. If you beat this number, add 3 extra points to your week 1 total.
A handful of us are considering running a Ragnar relay race happening June 7-8. The event is a road relay race for teams of either 6 or 12 people that runs from Utah State University to Brighton Ski Resort. Please let me know if you are interested in being on a team. We are going to try to get tickets purchased and teams booked in the next month or two. More details here: https://www.runragnar.com/event-detail/relay/wasatchback#overview
We are super excited to be hosting a Reps-ahead event in early June. This is a new event in the CrossFit space where individuals go head-to-head on a workout, once one of the competitors gets a certain number of reps ahead of the other then it is over. We will be doing heats of 1v1 as well as partnered 2v2 matchups. This is an outside company that puts these on, and they really do a terrific job creating a fun workout/ environment for all fitness levels. This is going to happen on a Saturday in place of our usual classes. We have room for up to 30 people so let me know if you want me to reserve you a spot! More to come as we get closer to June. Past events can be seen here: https://reps-ahead.com/
Keep crushing this health challenge! We are impressed by you all and can’t wait to see everyone’s total scores in a few weeks.
